This is my all-time favorite Jaguar Sedan. Also, I love the Seafrost Blue, even though British Racing Green is probably deemed almost mandatory. I especially love this car because it was such a market failure even though it used some of the most advanced technology in the automotive industry at the time. People didn't want all that new tech thrown at something that wound up looking like nothing more than the old XJ6 and rejected it. To me, that's not recognizing classic beauty and mindlessly demanding novelty, which is so lacking in artistic sophistication that this car was automatically vaulted to the top of my all-time favorite Jaguar Sedans. Yes, it looks very much like an XJ6, which is a timeless beauty, and that's a bad thing?. The model is fantastic in all aspects. The only small defect was a little bit of stray black paint on the Seafrost Blue, but a toothpick, some saliva, and a little patience removed that problem flawlessly. Beautiful model of misunderstood and undeservedly unloved car.
